At the Rehabilitation Medicine Center of New York we understand pain can be physically limiting and emotionally unsettling.  Whether your disorder resulted from an on-the-job incident, is accident-related, or is episodic; our goal is the same—reduce your pain, improve or restore your functional abilities and return you to full activity as soon as it is reasonable.

Our doctors may combine different interventional non-operative treatments to help resolve pain and improve mobility.  Interventional means to ‘intervene’ to stop and manage pain while you start physical therapy, sometimes called functional rehabilitation.  Activity stimulates circulation, helps healing, and releases endorphins—your body’s natural pain fighters.
